are batchelor baked beans good for you? Currently eating these as a late night snack with the odd slice of toast. I must add that at the moment that i don't need to lose weight but I was wondering would it be considered healthy to eat baked beans or are they better substitutes

They are not very trendy at the minute, if you like them give it a few years & they will probably come back into fashion, just look at butter!

It depends on what you're eating the rest of the day but there's nothing all that wrong with them, per se. They can be pretty high in sugar and salt though so keep an eye on that.

Bit of further research to me shows there seems to be a general disregard for them. If people are seeing beans as unhealthy they must be seriously depressing themselves on whatever tasteless healthy ****e their eating.

I think it's depressing that you think bachelors beans are tasty and that eating healthy means what you are eating is 'tasteless'.

Ask Santa for a cookbook for Christmas.
