There continues to be a lot of talk about The
Ultimate Warrior being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year. It has been
confirmed that Vince McMahon and Warrior had a meeting while in Los Angeles for
    SummerSlam weekend.

Another name still discussed is DX, who would
enter the Hall of Fame as a group. DX was discussed for the 2013 ceremony but
that was nixed when Bruno Sammartino agreed to be inducted. WWE sees DX as an
ace in the hole and if they can’t get Warrior for 2014, WWE may go with
    DX

I wonder will Chyna will included as part of DX

It's hard too know what WWE will do with the HOF as most would probably say that at least in comparison to previous years last years was seriously stacked (perhaps overly so) and it's therefore hard to know whether they would consider Warrior a big enough draw on his own.

After them inducting Trish I wouldn't be shocked if Lita is inducted. I am sure there will be a lot of talk as always of Macho Man being inducted too.

Personally I would not have DX inducted but there has been a lot of chatter about it so perhaps internally in the WWE the idea might be popular enough. Michaels is already in the HOF and apart from HHH who will get in at some point I dont think the others really warrant induction at least not yet although they probably would eventually get in because the NAO are one of the highest rated tag teams of the past and Chyna did kinda break the mold for female wrestlers in the WWF.

If they really have gotten the go ahead for Randy Savage, they would be mad not to take it.

Jake Roberts likely a lock and Warrior also rumoured

would make for an EPIC ceremony!

(which have been snore fests the last few years)

I'd say Warrior, Jake and Macho will go in. Id love to see a Hart Foundation induction (unlikely due to Owens widow wanting Owen to be erased from WWE history)

Jake HAS to go in imo.

Would love to see Hall and DDP go in too.

Savage should go in, Warrior should go in. So many guys that deserve to go in and really being WM30 they should go all out.

Jake,Savage and Warrior would do it for me.A cracking and well deserved line up.

If Lita goes in they may as well start inducting the likes of Al Snow and the Mean Street Posse.

The Posse should and will be left until WrestleMania 50. Would love Vader in too even if he didn't have as amazing a run in WWE as he could of had.

Really hoping Jim Johnston slips in there.

    Still hoping Regal gets in.

Shane McMahon, could be seen as an olive branch to bring him back.

+1 here. If not for some of his work, many a WWF/E Superstar would fail to get over.

    A legend.

If DX go in, Chyna has to be included. Anything else would just be to give Triple H a spot before he gets in by himself too. Add him to the double inductee club.

    When do they start announcing?

Lita deserves her place, I feel she revolutionised the women's division at the time and was better in ring than Trish

After RAW I feel that Jake in HOF will almost definitely happen.

They announce the "headliner" the Raw the week the tickets go on sale.

Wonder if they see Jake as a HoF 'headliner'.

If I was punting man I'd say Warrior would be the headliner, but I guess giving him that kind of time on the podium comes with its own risks. :pac:

I think Warrior is certainly a headline name. Being a champ in the Hulkamania period is colossal in terms of WWE HOF worthiness.

I only re-watched "The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior". It really beings into question how the hell they are going to induct him. To call the DVD a pull blown hatchet job is an understatement. Every single one of talking head talked about his piss poor professionalism, crap in-rings skills and the fact he was exclusively in wrestling to make money.

Who the hell would induct him? And would the ceremony but filled with total hypocrisy touting Warrior as godsgift or would be be along the lines of "Almighty douchebag but no denying the character and what he achieve was amazing"?

In an ideal world, I suppose Sting would be the best man to induct him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,082 ✭✭✭✭chopperbyrne

His old tag partner could induct him if he doesn't sign with TNA again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,801 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

Hogan be the next best choice, With both making cameos at WMXXX

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,089 ✭✭✭✭rovert

Rob Van Damn would be the most likely in terms of Warrior agreeing to it.

Why what connection have they ?

    Friends.

I don't think Warrior and Hogan's egos could fit in the same room.

RVD was training him a few years back before warrior wrestled on some Spanish show.

    First inductee announced on Raw.

    Not really a surprise.
    Warrior

Id put my last fiver on CM Punk inducting the Warrior. It would be approved by WWE and Warrior. He will have nothing but positive childhood memories about him and wont be brain-washed by the old school wrestlers stories from late 80s/90s.

    It should be Hogan imo

Hogan would definitely be somebody that shares a link and seems to have a bit of a friendship with Warrior.

That's not true at all. Warrior exposed a lot of stuff about Hogan's drug taking and infidelities a few years ago. What was the last indication of friendship?

Ultimate Warrior I no star power I p*ss my pants gimme free publicity

Ugh, gimme a break. I hate when has-beens leech off of WWE news. Hogan's always at it too.

I'd like to see Ken Shamrock, Chyna, Jim Johnson, Scott Hall, Jake Roberts, & The Warrior go in this year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

Chyna? I don't think it'll ever happen, unless it's the porn Hall of Fame. Id say she's being given the "Benoit" treatment within the WWE.

I think Lita should go in whatever you think of her as a wrestler she was revolutionary , I might be on my own but I thought she should have went in instead of Trish Stratus other women who I'd like to see go are Alundra Blaze/Madusa & Molly Holly just because I like her

They are saving DX as a headliner for went they can't get anyone else. DX for definite was the backup plan last year if they couldn't get Bruno Sammartino. FULLY expect Chyna to be part of the inducted group unless there is a massive sea change from what they have been doing in mending fences and doing "best for business." They've done business with Vince Russo, Shane Douglas, Bruno, Warrior etc recently.

Chyna would be different though as its more personal in relation to Hunter and Steph than to Vince. From what I understand Hunter mended most of the fences in relation to Bruno and Warrior. Would be do the same for Chyna considering she's his ex ??

Is Vince not an option for inducting Warrior? Seems like the kind of thing Warrior could demand.

Big accomplishment/ego stroke if Hunter gets it done. But yeah you are right. You don't know what is going on in the background Chyna's been very quiet/well behaviour. WWE may have put her through rehab for all we know.

Would be my pick. Apparently Warrior does feel that he is entitled to a public apology for the Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior DVD hatchet job.

I'd think Lita would be a reasonable shout to get in at some point, Molly Holly not so much.
