MLP Fan Meet Ups?

    Hey, I'm a big fan of MLP with very few people to chat about it with. I've 'converted' a few friends (mostly girls, guys seem to act like I'm offering them arsenic whenever I mention the show even in passing) but I was wondering if there are any get-togethers or clubs near Cork. I know Bronies of Ireland have meet-ups in Dublin but, as a university student, I'm pretty strapped and don't have the time to commit to whole weekend sort of stuff like would be involved in constant trips to Dublin.

    Does anyone know of anything like that?

    They tend to not be as big as the ones in Dublin, but that's your local.

    BTW, people do come from as far away as Galway and Kerry for the Saturday meets in Dublin. Morning bus, evening bus. Bus Eireann. Cheapish. You'd be more than welcome.

    Now that I'm studying and living in Dublin, I really want/need to get myself to a meetup too, no excuses for me! Any Idea when ye are having the next one?

    We haven't decided yet. But it'll go in the Meetup sticky when we do. Probably in about 2 weeks, so 19th maybe? That or the 26th.
