My son turns 7 next week, and has been looking for a bike to replace a second-hand cheap hand-me-down, I'm looking for something I can take him riding trails with, so, lightweight, with gears, and front forks preferred, although not essential if the bike is up to it. €200 is about top of my budget, so after looking around…

€200 is about top of my budget, so after looking around online and dropping into the LBS I purchased my own MTB off, this seems to be the option most in my budget.

Carrera Blast

Anyone have any info on this bike or could point out anything else worth taking a look at?

I'm open to secondhand bikes in good nick, but as of yet I haven't found any good ones.
