I have just gotten use of a joule 1.0 and powertap. The joule will read heart rate and speed but not pick up power. I have paired the wheel with another ANT+ device and it has read power so it is not a problem with the hub. I have also zeroed the device. Any suggestions?

Does the Joule pick up the PT at all?

What Speed sensor are you using?

There is a reading for speed coming from the hub. I was wandering was a speed sensor needed to trigger power but as its reading speed I didn't think so. Thanks for reply.

You need either a speed sensor or HRM to trigger the power reading. Within the Joule you should be able to set which one you pick up - check the instructions. I haven't used the 1.0, but that's how the old Joule and the 2.0 work

cheers again. Set the joule to read once heart rate picked up rather than speed in power agent but still no joy. maybe a speed sensor is needed to but I didn't think so.
