Rear Mudguard that works with a pannier system

hi all,

every since I put a pannier rack on my hybrid I have been unable to fit my 'granny' mudguards. this is sucking coming into winter.

can someone suggest pannier friendly mudguards for me? the 'grannier' the better

I use Crud Racers under a rack and I'm well happy with their coverage. Easy enough to fit and about €30 online.

i have a rack and sks longboards on my kaffenbak.
Prior to that I had a rack and sks chromoplastics on a giant FCR2
Why are you unable to fit a rack and guards?

don't even bother. max load of a couple of kg, nothing to stop the panniers getting into the wheel and nothing to stop it rotating on the seatpost.

currently, the hole where the pannier is screwed into the bike, is also the same area where the mudguard would be attached

Can you not attach both to the same eyelets using slightly longer bolts?

it doesnt seem to be possible, though a bikeshop may have a trick for it

That "trick" will be a longer bolt methinks.
