when bag is mounted there is to much give on it.

Is the bracket moving on the handlebar?

Yes - the mount moves up and down. The wire cable does not grip the handlebar sufficiently or else I have not tightened allen key bold tight enough?

The cable should be completely taut when the bracket is level. You can achieve this by:

    1. installing with the bracket angled slightly upwards
    2. tighten the cable bolts,
    3. press down on the clamp until it's level (this will tighten the cable)
    4. finally tighten the clamp bolts on the bracket.

I think these instructions are better (with words!)
