We'd shun them and cast them aside if they were shaped any differently. They'd be the lonely Vagabonds of the savoury snack world. Cars Watercrackers laughing at them from their ivory tower. Even the usually friendly Tuck would have no time for them.

Crackers can be any shape but Cream Crackers must remain the same. You just don't mess with something like that.

I thought this thread would be about travellers turning to communism.

So, you're telling us they're all stamped out on a mass-production line, and that a large manufacturer does contract orders for large retailers?

    Who Knew? I'm shocked OP.

I've only seen Jacobs where I live but they are lovely, lovely crackers. Excellent with cream cheese.

Tesco's version are 26c, some of the others are a euro or more in price for the same sized packet. Now, I'm the first to say that when buying own or cheaper brands, whether for better or worse (usually understandly worse), they're usually a taste difference. But honestly, cream crackers?

Always get Jacobs. Bolands taste rotten. SuperValu stocks a cheap brand can't think of name now and they are not too bad at all. I love Cream Crackers with salt on them!

In truth cream crackers are pretty uniform because they, by and large dont mix with other biscuits that often.

Its their culture to remain a biscuit apart.
