    Most lads I know are giving it up as there is no money in it at all.

    REASON im asking ive aquired a nice bit of land just outside dublin . and wanted to look in to breeding small investment .was origanaly going to look in to foul etc.

    Well you can get weaned 10-12 week piglet gilts for €40.
    There is allot of work with your sow to get to that stage. Don't underestimate how much feed these animals consume.
