Debris on M50 Almost crash

Just got home but on my way on the M50 northbound just before ex 4 I nearly had a what would be a pretty bad crash due to there being a significant amount of debris on the road including a car bumper. All which were very difficult to see until almost too late causing me to have to swerve to avoid it.

Just wondering if the local garda station would be the ones to call and notify of the situation so it can be cleared as its an accident waiting to happen or is there someone/something else I should call ?

Hi if it is as dangerous as you described would you not call 999 or 112 because I would class that as serious enough and may save a life.

I have rang on different occasions if deemed serious like your experience.

There was a burnt out car on it earlier on Witt bits missing off it. Two bumpers gone and mirrors gone. Possibly same car but it was being put on truck. They probably should've taken the parts off the road.
There's always bit of truck tires on it that can easily cause a crash.

If you ever spot debris or a hazzard on the M50 call 1800 77 50 50, this is the number for the M50 motorway maintenance, describe what you saw and where you saw it and they will get it off the road quick enough.
If you are not too familiar with the junction numbers or what part of the motorway you are on, you can just say which direction you are heading and what the next junction / exit is and they will work it out.

There's been debris on the toll bridge northbound for the past few days, looks like bricks and parts of pallets that have been swept over to the edge
