We have just purchased a little 2 berth Rallyman, thinking of heading away for the Oct. bank holiday. We want somewhere close to home as we are total newcomers to the whole scene. We had a bit of a look around on the net looking for sites that are a) still open and b) dog friendly.
Anyone know anywhere in and around 50 miles from Co. Louth, in the republic that is open and is pet friendly.
    Many Thanks.

You should join the Irish Camping and Caravan Club. See I.C.C.C.ie and you will not regret it.

You can park in the car park at the back of the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford, they're fine with it. Very close to the town, great spot to park up.
