What size? I have a pair of Large Verge bibs that have only been worn once, they're the Boards bibs without the printing.

Assos may be expensive, but they do last - the only ones I've ever "retired" have been as a result of rips caused by falls

I'm into my third generation of Assos shorts. On average I seem to get 3.5 years out of a pair on heavy rotation (i.e. being worn at least once a week). After that they start to get thin around the arsal area and need to be replaced.

I've got the BBB ones and they've been fine so far. Also got these in TKMaxx and they are much better. http://www.radsportbekleidung.com/hersteller/gonso/cycling-bib-shorts-gonso-essentials-black.html?lang=1

I've recently got some of the Sportful range, bibs, leg warmers etc, and I have to say its excellent gear - I'm on the lookout for a 3/4 length pair for decent money. I have the Sportful No-Rain bibs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - really nice fit. (suppliers to Team Saxo Bank, btw). http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/sportful-no-rain-bib-short/rp-prod110086 - maybe you can get that €90 price reduced with vouchers etc, but I doubt as low as €70

Could you have a word with one of the lads I cycle with regularly please? His Assos shorts look perfect from a distance but leave nothing to the imagination close up .... Uuuuuck!

I have a pair of Altura ProGel bib shorts, very comfortable and they seem like theyre hard wearing, Ive had them a year and they've been wore at least 40 times and no real signs of wear on them so far.

Exteonedo - you will get great value in a great set of shorts on Prendas.

Also I like Panache a lot. Great bin short and very stylish IMHO but can be more than 60notes.

I don't have dhb shorts but I do have their winter tights. The chamois is excellent. They are warm, windproof, comfy and very hard wearing.
