Hey guys - just wondering if you have a preference?

Going to order some Gator Skin tyres and at the moment they both have a deal on - but who delivers faster etc?

CRC gets my vote, only because Wiggle screwed up a couple of my orders and were arseholes to deal with.

CRC are about 2-3 days and Wiggle are usually 4-5days... from experience

I usually price stuff up on a number of sites and go with the cheapest. Ribble have won out on the last couple of orders and tend not to use the big brown boxes for small items which I also like. Just got some new shifters, cassette and chain, and they were a lot cheaper. Wiggle came 2nd, Bike24 3rd, CRC DNF.

Wiggle has been cheaper for the stuff I've bought up to now. No experience with CRC.

Choosing free delivery, CRC will either ship your order by Royal Mail Intl, which usually takes two days to arrive (ie. item shipped early Monday, arrives Wednesday), or they ship by 24hr Parcelforce (ie. you'll get it the next day and can track it). I'm not sure exactly what determines whether they send by standard or 24hr, but it seems like they'll send bulkier, heavier items (eg. non folding tyres, drums of powder) by 24hr, but they'll send an order full of small items by standard. In my experience, if you order early enough in the day, the item will be shipped that same day.

    I've never used Wiggle.

I've used both for new gear and very little difference tbf. Both have very good, competitive prices and both delivered hassle-free within days. Any items I had to return were processed hassle-free immediately.

That probably doesn't help you decide though :)

I price whatever it is I'm looking for on
    CRC
    Wiggle
    Ribble
    Evans
    Merlin
    Slane
    Bike24
    Bike-Components
    Ebay

and pick which ever one offers the best price so it changes all the time. Bought a prologo kappa saddle from wiggle last week, got a CO2 pump and tubes from CRC the week previous, a saddle pouch from wiggle before that. I have no real preference, price determines who i buy from but saying the CRC are without a doubt the fastest at completing and shipping out orders.
