And why aren't you doing it?

Mine reason for not becoming an airline pilot was the lack of money (or at least the fear of debt and/or failure)

What makes you think I'm not doing it?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I'm a singer, and without a doubt, my dream job would have been to make a living from performing my own material.

There are many reasons I'm not doing it. Firstly, I suffer ridiculously with stage fright. It never gets any easier for me, and it's just not worth it.

Secondly, I really don't have the stamina for the touring lifestyle. I've done a little of it (not as a front woman), and I nearly keeled over from tiredness.

Lastly, and probably the main reason, when I was "discovered" by a few labels many years ago, they all got the jitters and "undiscovered" me when push came to shove. Maybe they sensed all of the above! :)

I should clarify: I have two part time jobs - one's a pain in the ass (call center donkey) the other is quiet enjoyable (sports statistician/online scoreboard operator).

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I met a friend's kid saying how they would love this. Told him the harsh reality and how he would hate it. He didn't believe me and got a job testing video games. He hated it but wouldn't admit it to me or his dad, we thought this was really funny.

4 months on he just cracked and left. He now works in financial software but some of the people he worked with are still there and he slags them off over their cráp jobs. The pay is terrible in games development mostly because people think it will be fun and they can be easily replaced. Getting a video game free is not a make up for the 15-20k pay loss.

I work in IT (I'm the hardware/software support person and the web developer in our company) and mostly enjoy it.

What I'd really love though is a high paying job developing software.

I was a bartender in college and loved it. During the Summer/Christmas I'd be doing 60 hour weeks the whole time so it's not like I was doing the odd shift at the weekend and thought it was great craic.

Loved the chat and banter of a quite week night or the lunacy that was Saturday night.

    Currently a desk jockey :(

sounds great but is really difficult in reality. Could you shag some babe in one position for about 5 minutes then stop. Move to a different position, rinse repeat? Avoid the urge to cum. Then stop, maintain a hardon on the cusp of shooting, as your coworker deep throats you for about five minutes of still photos, then take a break while people are walking around chatting, on the phone, whatever, then start all over again an eventually cum when you're directed to? I couldn't. 30 seconds with the lovely Jada Fire on top of me with her boobs in my face and I'd shoot my yoghurt only to be told curtly "don't call us, we'll call you!"

MotoGP rider. Unfortunately, I'm way too tall, I started riding way too late and I lack talent.

I always wanted to be a professional musician but I had insufficient talent for that too.

Music producer. Limited musical talent is a bit of a hindrance. My mother always said I'd regret giving up! Hate it when she's right.
