Worth complaining?

So, yesterday and on Friday evening I left work at 16:00 to get the 16:10 79A from Parkwest into town. On both occassions a bus completing the other direction arrived at the terminus a couple of minutes before 16:10 but did not go until 16:30. So the timeslot was effectively skipped two operational days in succession.

Now, the latest timetable on the website indicates no change to an A at 1610. In a case like this is it worth complaining to Dublinbus or would it be a waste of time? Has anyone ever got any satisfaction from raising such an issue?

It sounds like the other bus (the 16:10) was cancelled for some reason.

You can drop them an email to customercomment@dublinbus.ie and they will get back to you with an explanation.

Is it worth ringing Dublin Bus at 1610ish on the day than getting a generic email, you might get a better answer.

The bus that arrives in close to the departure time is generally the next departure ie arrive at 1610, departs at 1630. The bus operating the 1610 should already be sitting there by 1550 I'd say.

Would there be any point bringing it to the attention of the NTA as well as Dublin Bus? Wouldn't they want to know if Dublin Bus were regularly cutting scheduled timetabled services?

Well I would suggest getting an explanation first from the operator - there could be a very simple explanation.
