The champion trainer admitted he had no intention of starting off the eight year-old at Haydock Park until the racecourse recently announced that the race will be run on the more galloping Flat track after issues with grass growth on the reseeded Jump course around the sharper Jump track.

What's haydock like? Good session afterwards, cheap accommodation?

There's nothing in Haydock. Manchester & Liverpool are both about 15 miles away.

Like above said there isn't anything in haydock, the track itself is good but it's in the middle of no-where. Public transport isnt great round there either.
