    I tried in July and lasted all of twelve days :(

    The longest I've been sober in the last 4 years is two weeks.


    Which, to be honest, sounds absolutely horrific but I've no intention of making any changes.

    I did it last January. Stayed off the sauce for the whole month. It is not really that hard when you put your mind to it, but I was so happy to get that first beer in.
    Also felt a lot healthier and started to look good for once.

    I don't think I've had one week since turning 16 that I haven't had an alcoholic beverage. Horrific when you think about it...

    November for me is a time for fasting and non drinking.
