    Hey Guys,

I don't know how many of you are into modular\analog synths ... and how many are interested in Synth DIY.

I built a couple of modules myself, and a x0xb0x, and am planing to start another 5U modular.

I have been gathering stuff, often in multiples : PCB's jacks socket - etc. and I am constantly researching that stuff. I have been help by a few locals guys before so I know there is a bit of interest.

Would there be any interest into creating a SDIY group ?
    - where we could share resources ?
    - organise group buys of parts or PCB's to keep the cost down
    - where we could help each other ?

http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/ is really the ultimate forum for info, but you know, we are not a lot in Ireland so we should help each others - right ?

Let me know if you are interested.

I'm a fan of analog/modular synthesis but have little experience with building modules etc. I'll definitely check out the group though.

Any plans to relocate the group to Facebook? ;)

Can you get notifications in a Google plus account for a Google group?

I'd join but there's no way I'd be checking for posts manually!

    Hey Waveform!

Not really :) several of us are not on facebook ( i am though ) - and the one which are are already part of the global SDIY group, 4U modular ... and probably 10 other SDIY groups :)

you don't need to check post manually though, they arrive in your mailbox - checking manually is only an option !

    Just joined there.

By mailbox do you mean your email inbox, or the global google account mailbox up the top?

There was an option to link my g+ account so it would use my photo, hoping the notifications get linked up too!

Hi, I am glad that I have found this forum (and also signed up for your google forum). I am totally new in analog synthesizers. I have found your post saying that you have an analog four.
I am having trouble syncing ni maschine with analog four. Can you help me with
connection and settings? I have connected it by midi cable, midi in from a4 to midi out on maschine. My settings is that maschine sends midi clock and a4 receives but its not syncing.
I am totally new in that kind of things.
I have changed some settings, now I have in maschine sync to external midi clock and in a4 settings clock send but i left cable connection like it was before, midi in on a4 and midi out on maschine controler. In maschine preferences I set up sync offset slave on -79 and now is working good but after few min its going out of sync. Especially when I press stop and play it again (I need to set up sync offset slave in maschine preferences every time when I press stop and play again).
Before I made that changes I was trying with maschine preferences sync offset slave and also with clock offset in outputs midi settings and I couldn`t sync it.
    Am I doing something wrong?
I am a totally beginner so very sorry for stupid questions ;)
Hope you understand because my english is not very well.
I tried also with usb, same problem. Is it possible that my analog four is faulty?
Is it possible to meet and maybe you can check it or something like that?:)
    Please help
