Bought a set of these a while ago and found them pretty good for the price.

I have the Bose Quiet Comfort ones. They are a LOT more expensive but they're pretty good.
It's hard to imagine how good the €16 pair are. My guess is that it's a case of 'you get what you pay for'.
Hope it works out either way.
