    Hello

Im fairly new to this but here is what i want:
I want to upgrade most of my PC parts, so basicly i want a new pc. I currently have this:
    Motherboard: Intel® Desktop Board DH61WW
    Processor: Intel(R) Core i502319 CPU @ 2.9GHz (4CPUs), ~2.9GHz
    RAM: 4096MB RAM
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
    Video Memory: 2759 (I think)

I know that the motherboard i have now cant run anything better then the GTX 560.

Im thinking about getting a new: Motherboard, Graphics card, Cooling system. and some aditional 4GB of ram.
Im willing to spend around 500€ for this. I want to get new parts now so i don't have to worry about it for like another 2 years. I have been looking around on the net but i get so confused. Please help me!

Do you want to overclock, if not, I'd stay with the board you have and put the money into the other components. You've got an i5 Sandy Bridge processor in the system which is fine for the next few years. It's a non K processor either so you'd have to put more money into buying a new processor aswell if you did want to.

If your willing to spend up to 500, you could swap out to a different board, although getting one that fits may be a problem depending on your case. If you case supports a full ATX board, I'd recommend the Z68AP-D3 from Gigabyte, its excellent value at about €60 new. It also has 4 DIMMS for RAM as opposed to your current board which has one. As for upgrading ram, I'd pick up an 8GB kit at something around 1600MHz, or 1866 if you want to spend the extra money, doesnt make a huge difference on Sandy Bridge. I like Corsairs kits, they go from anywhere from €80-100 for 8GB.

We could swap the PSU out for a more powerful GPU but its not really worth it, so I'd say wait till AMD launch the new cards soon, then pick up one of the current. Even now theres a couple of 7950's for around €200 on overclockers.co.uk.

Total spend now should be at 350 so I'd spend the last €150 on cooling and a solid state drive. The Antec Kuhler 620 can be got for around 55. And to finish it off, a Crucial M4 at €90.

Any other questions, just fire away !

The board thats in it now, probably not, there isn't much room for expansion thats why I suggested the Gigabyte board. The CPU will be absolutely fine.

What makes you think the board won't run anything higher than a 560?
