Predict your year of death?

I reckon I'll live into the early 2060s, born in (88). My grandfather was hard living, drink and smoking and lived to 77. His ticker went in the end, they say that oftens skips a generation so I will probably succumb to a heart attack too. 75 would be a good enough age for me.

I used to think the was a good chance of living into my 100's, given the advances in medical tech, so that'd bring me into the 2070's.
But, with a year of medical crap, I'd have to revise that figure to the 2050's, maybe 2040's....

I'm not sure I want to live to "a ripe old age' advances in medicine can prolong our lives, but being in my 90's, pissing my nappies & not recognizing anyone doesn't appeal to me.
    2051 would do for me.

Sure it's impossible to even guess. Could die any day. But I'm gonna go with 2058 when I'll be 79. I smoke.

I used an online calculator to predict my life expectancy. I got 81, which mean 2041 for me. The wife's is the same.

Don't tempt me! It wouldn't be in 2041, either. :D

When Dutch Schultz was shot he didn't exactly die on impact. He was in the Jacks having a piss when the Italians struck his Jew Mob joint. His Crime by the way was threatening to murder the Manhattan District Attorney of the day Thomas E Dewey. Cosa Nostra had a 'code of honour'. You never kill a policeman or a lawyer.

Schultz collapsed in the jacks and screamed and roared out names of Italians for the next 14 hours before he died. He also interestingly kept mouthing out that 1935 had come true. Apparently he told fellow Jew Mob members years before that this would be his final year. He was only 34 when died.

I will live till the 2050's which will put me in my 80's. I'll bump this thread shortly before I die (and probably get a ban/warning for resurrecting an old thread but I won't care as I'll be at deaths door and I'll come back and haunt the sh*t out of the mods)

Just did an online calculation and got 89. Not a hope in hell. Cancer in the family, mother dead and father not in the best of health. I live a fairly healthy life but I reckon I'll be dead by 80.

I probably have another 50 years to live. Max.
That's a pretty sobering thought actually

If I get another 40 years I reckon I'd be doing really well.

I'm aiming towards 2100 when I'll be 102 (but only if I'm able to look after myself at that age, otherwise I'd rather be dead).

According to the death clock software/app or whatever I've got 40 years left. Would take me to my mid-seventies, which wouldnt be bad. The auld lads family tend to drop around then, the mothers a bit later. The odd case of cancer going back, so you'd never know.

I might buy a pet though and see if that gives me a few more years!! Pet owners live longer. Think its cos you'd be out walking it or interacting with it.

Gonna get a hamster, see if that helps :)

Telomere regeneration will be here in 40 years, so I'm going with 2090.
    If not then 2040.
