Shoes

I was in work earlier and saw a young woman about 22-25 years old barely able to stay upright in a pair of heels. I asked my two female colleagues beside me, why do women wear shoes that hurt or they cant walk properly in?? They both said that they make ladies look hot!

I don't know about anyone else but a pair of shoes does not make someone, male or female, look hot imo.

What is everyones opinion on that? (I'm male btw)

Women think it makes them look more attractive, most men dont care. Its like fake tan, the only people who think its a good idea are the women.

I'm guessing you work in a bar? To be fair, alcohol and heels don't mix

Some nice heals or hooker boots and be quite sexy. Maybe I'm just a perv, I don't know.

The things that people do because they think it makes them look attractive...I asked a girl I know why she always sticks her tongue out in photos. She said it makes her face look slimmer. A lad I used to go drinking with was constantly laughing and smiling in the house but had an angry expression on his face when he was in the pub because he thought it made him look bad and therefore sexy.

You know what I think is hot? Not going out of your way to try to appear hot.

No, don't work in a bar. Work in a hotel and it was fairly early. The group of ladies were just heading out for the nigt and one in particular was clearly having difficulty. They came back holding the shoes so maybe she had a change of heart

Some of the real high heels apparently damage the feet with prolonged use. I suppose if you wear them out once and while it's ok but I as a male don't see anything attractive about them.

They do that. Women are weird like that. Some bring spare shoes out.

Yeah, I don't see anything attractive about them either. It drives me insane waiting for my girlfriend when she wears heels. Luckily shes more of a flat shoes/ugg boots kinda girl so she doesnt wear heels much.

Each to their own I suppose.

yes they certainly do make women look more attractive in my own perverted opinion, whether they can walk in them or not

Just curious but what is it about them that you find attractive? They are just shoes after all

I don't even know myself if i am honest, I would still find the woman attractive even if she was wearing bin bags as shoes but they certainly make a difference.

But do you find ANY woman wearing heels attractive? Regardless of how their overall appearance may be?

That was the point my two co-workers made, heels make a woman look hot.

I know I am not the best looking guy in the world but imo some women need a lot more than heels to look hot. Heels may look nice with a certain outfit, maybe. But they don't automatically make someone look hot.

it's not the actual shoe you would be attracted to so obviously the woman would have to look good in the first place. i think i have came up with a valid reason why i like them, they complement a woman's legs.

I should also add that i like military boots/doc martins (that rock/metal girls wear) even better.

They make your legs look longer and slimmer and your ar$e look better. I love my heels. Don't wear them that much now that I'm a mammy :(. Still I wouldn't wear them if I couldn't dance in them.

A girl who can walk gracefully in heels, there's not a whole lot sexier IMO, not the exaggerated catwalk model walk, but just a natural walk.

I'm talking six inch Louboutins, NOT the likes of Lady Gaga extreme ankle breakers. They're not shoes, they're death traps.

I agree with you OP in so far as girls who can walk gracefully in heels are very few and far between, and an awful lot of girls I've met have done themselves an injustice (and a couple of injuries) by wearing heels that were just too much for them to handle, nothing sexy about tottering painfully along and toppling over!

As for fellas and shoes, well, I used love my New Rocks, my mates just didn't get that they were comfortable, and called them spaceboots! But those same friends would have raised an eyebrow were I to wear a pair of winklepickers! Hell they could hardly handle it when I bought a pair of decks because they were so used to me in New Rocks.

Nowadays though it's just plain black sensible shoes.

Some women just can't walk in heels. I see it all the time, some women stomping along, walking like they're carrying pigs under each arm. No poise or posture. As regards them huring heir feet? Well then they're supid. They're the wrong size, or fit. A good pair of shoes should slip on, and be comfortable.

Why do women wear them? Because a nice pair of heel accentuates the bm, and the legs, as Rosy Posy said.

This. I'd love to get my Mrs a pair of Louboutins, but she can't do 6 inch heels. (And it would put her at 6'6" ish)

OT I had a pair of New Rocks when I was younger as well! Also dubbed Space Boots or Moon Boots. Weren't totally black, were cream and black. I miss them. But I wouldn't/couldn't wear them now.

    Are these what you mean?

I go watch a lot of Goth Metal bands and when I can't find the venue you just have to follow girls wearing them

I rarely wear heels apart from the odd time on a night out, and they wouldn't be very high either. They're not comfy and I'm already 5'10' so I see no point!

OP You've obviously never rode a woman who was naked apart from a pair of high heel shoes? Ta sí an sexaaaay!

I never got the fascination with shoes. I suppose they can make a woman look sexy, but she'd have to be sexy to begin with. Women seem to notice men's shoes a lot too. And god forbid if you were to wear white socks with them.

I can only assume that any man who can't see how heels can make a woman more attractive is either gay, asexual or blind.

Would they make Mary Harney more attractive?

or an engineer. I did a Structural Engineering course at university, with several girls who would go out in high heels. We all have the background knowledge and can crunch the numbers, calculating bending moments & stresses i.e. we could explain exactly why high heels do a bad idea of holding you up safely. They still wore the heels. Short version: keep your ankles straight, or you're going over.

Some folks find this video funny, but I don't: ankles aren't supposed to bend that way.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

That video had me crying laughing, BNT.
I rarely wear heels, and if I do, they tend to be very small or wedge heels. I could do with the extra height, but I just hate to be uncomfortable! Some women look like Bambi taking their first steps in heels!

Women may look sexier with stuff like heels and wonderbras but at the end of the night when they remove them the guy they might end up with is gonna feel cheated.

If I wore something to make me look more muscly I reckon women would be disappointed when they found out it was all props.
