Its understandable I suppose. We've had media telling us 24/7 that we are fcuked for 6 years now.

But can people please stop relating every bloody thread back to the banks and the enormous debt, the corrupt politicians etc etc . It a royal pain in the arse. Whats even more annpying is that everyone seems to think that they have a special, original and unique angle on it.

I nominate a new term for this "Depresswin". Alternates?

    I do!

It's called "limits to growth!" If you think that the recent downturn is a depression, wait a few more years and you'll find out what a real depression is!

I propose that, the longer a thread gets on boards, the greater the likelihood of somebody mentioning The Inconvenience. We shall call it Godhelpus Law.

And the worst thing is its the same the world over. No matter where you go in any part of any country they still write and talk about the great Irish property bubble and the night of the bank guarantee.

I sort of admire their ability to remain angry for so long. I imagine their internal monologue being a bit like an episode of Liveline playing on a constant loop, driving them slowly crazy.

Only if the current government is not allowed to blame the last government for the current problems. Only seem fair as they bang on about it every chance they get. With there finger wagging you ruined the country..

Unless you're writing software or are an accountant you really don't have to be that pedantic!

It's the new journalism, man. Who gives a f^ck about stuff like the actualite, just have a pointless rant against paper tigers. The OP is venting his spleen and requiring readers to deal with his scatter-gun missive.
What I have asked is how hard would it be to use the edit function to go back and clean up the post?

Wouldn't it be awful if we didn't know he meant to say annoying. I used to be like you. Cop on.

    Consider this an intervention.

By the way, it's not the mis-spelling of annoying I find obnoxious; it's the post itself.

Win is not something you add onto the name of laws, like gate (for scandals). Laws are named after the person that came up with up with it*

    Godwin's Law
    Ohm's Law
    Murphy's Law

    * There's probably some that don't but it's solid in principal and "Depresswin" was annoying the ****e out of me. Although I agree in general. I'm sick of the bankers coming up in every fecking conversation these days.
