Sky and moving house

I have been out of contract for years and I am now moving house. I was wondering should I cancel and order a new connection and perhaps get a deal or just get them to move dish etc for me? I have a quad LNB setup at moment only feeding on HD box so two spare cables for freesat.

Also I have BT sports - I assume if I cancel that I will still be able to view this?

    Thanks.

As you are "out of contract" there's nothing to cancel.

Don't Sky do a free house move still?

BT Sports is separate from your Sky sub,if you do cancel & sign up again at the new address you'll have to ring Setanta to transfer their sub to the new card you get from Sky.

Yes they do a a house move and yes the BT sport is separate.

What I was asking was what are the deals like for new users if I go with a new sub or would it be more costly. I also wondered if the BT sport sub would work if I cancelled sky. It with an old card.

    thx.

The housemove is free, even if a full installation is required. You retain your tenure, which makes a big difference down the line. New customers have to pay fees and certainly full price...
