Has anybody who renewed their application from last year and was awarded renewal online, received a letter from Susi to confirm that the grant will be paid?

When did you get the letter? I haven't recieved anything in the post yet despite my renewal application going straight to awarded renewal online and my circumstances haven't changed :/

My online application has said "Awarded Renewal" since I applied in May. I havent heard from them since..

Although I saw on the thread here regarding Renewal applications that someone got in touch with SUSI and they were told that because there was no change in circumstances that they wouldnt need to forward on any documents etc. So hopefully we just have to wait..

Ok, that's what i was thinking until I heard of some people getting confirmation letters. Thanks :)

I called the helpdesk 3 weeks ago to ask about the confirmation letter. I was told on the phone that I've been awarded, but that a letter had not been sent, and presumably won't be sent. I was told I would receive an email " in the coming weeks" to confirm my grant, but I still have not received anything.

I emailed them this morning, they confirmed that my grant has been renewed and due to no change in circumstances, I will receive the same as last year.

What I get from this is that if your online application says "Awarded renewal" on stage 2, you've been awarded it. If in doubt, give SUSI an email. They replied to me within the hour :)

Also, heres the payment schedule for SUSI applicants (taken from www.susi.ie/Payments.aspx):

"Your Higher Education Maintenance Grants Payment Schedules for 2013/2014 (Third Level Institution)

    Payment Month Payment Date
    October 18/10/13
    November 15/11/13
    December 20/12/13
    January 17/01/14
    February 14/02/14
    March 14/03/14
    April 17/04/14
    May 16/05/14
    June 20/06/14 "
