    Folks,

Looking at picking one of these up. Just wondering does anyone here have any experience of using the club either on an ongoing basis or something that was tried out but not chosen to get a place in the bag.

I'm currently using a RBZ Driver with regular shaft but consistency is an issue. The Xhot Pro is coming with a stiff shaft and smaller head 435cc as opposed to 460cc.

    Reviews online seem quite favorable.

Tried it out at a fitting recently, it actually had the best feel of all the drivers I hit and very consistent, but I lost HUGE distance with it, about 30 yards on average compared to the R1 or my current Adams drivers.

Under no circumstances should you buy this club without trying it, ideally go get fitted for it somewhere...

Is this for this club in particular or drivers in general.

I had one in my hand to buy last week, Nevada bobs are doing a free hybrid with it, however I got pang of guilt and decided to hold on to my own as I hit i reasonably ok...better the divil you know sometimes..
But I would love to know the general opinion on the xhot.

Phil Mickleson is using the SLDR Driver at the prez cup this week instead of the callaway equivalent.

I seen that the other day......

To be fair what Lefty hits doesn't really have any bearing on my query.

I picked up the Xhot for a good price on adverts and played a round last week. To be fair it was not bad as when I struck a good drive I found that I was further down holes that I had been with my RBZ. The flight path is a lot lower but I'm told that this is most likely down to hitting a stiff shaft in the Xhot as opposed to the regular in the RBZ.

I will be hitting the fairways 2moro out at Palmerstown Stud so we will see how I get on.
