Gaming on a budget

Any advice? I've around €500 to spend, I like my gaming (nothing too intensive, mostly RTS and strategy), would be used for media stuff and such as well, so HDMI out and USB 3'd be a plus. To be honest I could stretch to €700 for something with real longevity/value. I know there's a ton of these threads so any advice is…

Toshiba laptop with a Core i3 and HD 7670 graphics, €490 @ SOL (does have HDMI out and 2 USB 3.0 ports).
