This is a clip from Ireland: episode 2, in which our heroine has a flashback to Northern Ireland where everyone is inexplicably American for some reason. Her adopted brother is suddenly and tragically killed in broad daylight by some of the snazziest Loyalist paramilitary members I've ever seen (I like to think of them as the the Ulster Disco Association in this clip) as are her salt-of-the-earth parents. The UDA, not wearing balaclavas or the like, then ask her if she is a member of the IRA. When she replies that she isn't, the discoloyalists let her on her way, secure in the knowledge that she won't report this killing to the IRA, RUC or indeed anyone else. Then she gets given out to be a Korean chip-van owner for mindlessly bashing her head against his van, which she does for fcuking ages...

Also the family seemed to spend their evenings knitting and playing the harp... as ya do!

RTE will probably pay millions for the right to remake it.

Its almost as good as the time Jessica Fletcher visited Ireland.

Has to be a parody, the Koreans are excellent filmmakers.

Where everyone would have just acted annoyed, before Leo Dowling brings out the guitar.

If it is, then why did they come all the way over here from Korea to film it, and yet cast a load of yanks as Loyalist Paramilitaries?

    That is a fantastic find!
She tends to cook Korean food while in a good mood, and Irish food while in a bad mood.

She's learned much in her time here!

I had to read the first line about her brother twice: 'A drifter with no sense of fashion or morality...'

Agreed but a lot of their normal TV is absolute tripe. Koreans seriously love dramas though. More so than us and the Brits with eastenders and the like.

JAYSUS. That's too much, is it weird that I kinda want to see the other episodes too? Gas!

No potholes, so it's in no way believable.

Some Korean intern was obviously tasked with looking up "gangsters" in Google Images and came up with something from the Al Pacino era.

Frankly I'm disappointed no violin cases were used.
