Rank opposite Brown thomas will usually have a couple sitting there.
Or just phone '313131' (for example) and they will pick you up from your door within 10 minutes or so.
There would usually be at least 30/40 Taxi's working around 5am any morning so you shouldn't have any problem getting one.
Some will ask for payment upfront to drive to Pallaskenry at that time...offhand the meter rate will be around €30ish., so offer that amount.
Make sure he runs the meter (rather than getting you home and demanding €60 or €70).
If he doesn't turn it on ask him to do so, or else drop you at Henry st Garda station. BTW this is from a Taxi Driver who doesn't want us all painted as 'dishonest'.
You are probably better off ringing one of the bigger firms. It saves you wandering the streets at that hour, and most drivers would be only too happy to do that run at 5am rather than just do a 'local' one.

You could use the Hailo app, let them pick you up.
