    Hi All

Just bought one of these and thought I'd share with fellow boardsies

    http://www.memoryc.com/usbproducts/usbflashdrives/32gb-pqi-connect-201-usb-and-micro-usb-otg-storage-drive.html

Its a 32gb flash drive that has both a standard connection and micro usb connection.

So you could load it with stuff from your computer and then plug it directly into your phone/tablet.

Has a 28 day money back guarantee so going to give it a go

Edit: Found this youtube video that shows you how it works and the size.

OK, the one you posted is nice and neat, but MyMemory sent an email today with this 16Gb for £9.99 or this 32Gb for £17.99.

I'm looking at those photos, but can't figure out exactly what the device looks like. (May I'm just thick?)

Photo 1, I understand. It looks like a single cool little device one end of which plugs into a standard USB port and the other end of which plugs into a micro usb. So far so good.

Photo 2, shows a similar, but definitely different, device plugged into the micro USB port on a mobile phone.

Photo 3, show three different devices. The device from photo 1, the device from photo 2, and a new device which looks like it will only fit into a standard USB port.

Photo 4 shows what looks like the device from photo 1, except the device plugged in differently to how I had envisaged the device in photo 1 operating.

What on earth is going on? Is it the same device in different configurations? Am I missing caps or retractable components or something? Am I the only person confused by this?

I would be interested in purchasing the device from photo 2, or perhaps the device from photo 1 (but not if it functions as demonstrated in photo 4).

Edit: I'm viewing this at work so the youtube video is blocked. I expect that it will answer some or all of my questions.

Could it be used as a charger? (probably not advisable, but maybe in an emergency?)

Dude, it's the same device in all of the photos.
Photo 1 shows it 'naked' without the cap covering the micro USB.
Photo 2 shows it plugged into the phone
Photo 3 shows it with the cap, without the cap, and plugged into the phone.
Photo4 shows it plugged into the laptop, again without the cover on the micro USB side.

From that I assume there is no cap for the regular USB side, just for the micro side.

Well for a start the devices in photos 1 and 2 are definitely different.

And at 11 second into the video you see it plugged into the USB port on a lap top and it goes a lot further in than the device in photo 4.

Based on the video I think what is being sold is the device from photo 2. I don't know what photos 1 and 4 show.
