What recipe did you follow? I tried one last week without corn syrup (dissolved sugar in water as a substitute) but it wasn't great. What food colouring did you use btw?

You can't use plain food colouring, has to be food colouring gel/paste

I got food colouring paste, cost €3.45 at a local bakery supplies shop. I used about a quarter of a teaspoon, less probably and it came out super blue! So I'll be using less in my next batch.
