    Hi
A couple of jobs I want to apply for in the logistics industry are asking for "third party verification/proof of employment for the last 5 years"
What exactly are they looking for? I can't ask my current employer for a letter saying I've worked for them so what can I give them?
    Any help appreciated

A payslip with the numbers blanked out, but showing your name, PPS and the name of the current company.

If your current place is big enough, ask HR for a letter showing proof of employment for a mortgage application/landlord. The standard letter will just be on headed paper saying "neddynono is a full-time employee of ThisCompany since 13/1/2008". If it's a really small place that mightn't work as well, as people would be asking how the house hunt was going, or would notice if you'd just moved house a week ago or something.
