Amusing break up stories?

Has anyone got any amusing break up stories that they would like to share?

A friend of mine was looking for advice on the personal issue section of Boards under a terribly obvious anon username. He posted in great detail about the situation and how unhappy he was and was seeking advice. The (now ex)girlfriend's friend liked her to it on facebook and she confronted him about it.

A friend of mine wears contacts and was dumped by his long term girlfriend in a cafe. He got hystical and lost one of his contacts without noticing. He sat there, half crying and half wailing "You made me blind"

Not great but maybe yours are.

I daresay they're only amusing when they're about other people. :)

a woman I know was clinging on to this fellow for far too long - everyone could see she was mad about him and he was only sticking around out of awkwardness. Anyway, she finally gave him an ultimatum, so he found his way out, and she was in bits.

After lots of tears and wine and time, some friends persuaded her to join an dating website, one with a matchmaker function, presumably based on interests and location.

Guess who she got matched with. :pac:

After lots of tears and wine and time, she still can't see the funny side.

If you ever imagine your girlfriend is a psycho of any kind, watch this video and then count your blessings :D

I always conduct my break ups in a public setting. Prevents any awkward tears or loud declarations

if he got hysterical in a public cafe imagine the drama if she'd attempted it in private
