Mouseover Thread Preview on Homepage

In the individual forums, if the user mouses over a thread title, a popup appears with a preview of the first post. However, in the Latest Post section of the homepage, the thread popup simply contains the string "View Thread: " + threadName.

Isn't that redundant because:
- The thread name is visible already
- 99.9999% of visitors to Boards know to click the link to view the tread.

Why doesn't the homepage also show the thread preview popups because they are far more useful?

I think this would be great, I remember suggesting this myself many many years ago. It would be very handy to see this feature added

Would be a good feature. I suspect that it might cause problems with screen-readers though

As long as it was more like a roll-over text preview than a hideous flash popup, I think this is a great idea.

It might be an idea to start a thread on this over in Site Development since site feature ideas are no longer dealt with in Feedback.
