For those with Generic FTA Boxes - Possible TP changes

    This might be worth following.
    From Post 21 onwards

    Basically those with Freesat or Sky won't notice any change but it's possible the parameters will change for those with generic boxes.

    Anyhow something to bear in mind.

    So if anyone is thinking of switching to FTA then it appears best to wait a month till the dust settles no avoid lots of rescanning of channels and updating of epgs?

    Don't let it stop anyone going FTA in the meantime! I did have a quick glance at the TPs referenced in the other thread and there seemed to be a fair amount of Sky encrypted channels on them. That's not to say there won't be FTA moves but the main ones won't be moving. The encrypted you can ignore and those FTA ones that will move are most likely the pan European beam lesser known/watched FTA offerings anyhow.
