Are we about to be screwed once again price wise?

Roku officially launches Roku 3 and updated 1 and 2 in Ireland soon. here are the prices from what I can tell. I haven't confirmed this as it seems hard to find a link to purchase these in Ireland yet. Can anyone see where these can be purchased in Ireland?

How come the $ price is the same as £
Looks like people across the large pond are getting a much better deal

I was under the impression that the $ prices quoted do not include any local taxes, whereas here the price quoted does include all taxes.

That would account for some of the differential (if not all) ..... IF my impression is accurate.

I contacted Roku today.

They recommended Amazon.co.uk as the best place to purchase the Roku 3 for use in Ireland and offered to help set it up when it arrives.

I also got them to email me the list of channels/services which will be available here.
