Littlewoods have the Xperia L in black listed for €209 and if you can find any valid discount codes then can get for even cheaper. I got mine for €188.10 with a valid 10% code (3PQRE), just delivered 20 minutes ago. The white is listed at €319.

    •4.3 inch colour TFT screen (480 x 854 pixels)
    •Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS
•Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz dual core processor
    •8 MP camera with auto-focus and geo-tagging
    •720p video at 30 fps
    •Front-facing webcam
    •Wi-Fi; 3G; Bluetooth 4.0
•8Gb internal memory - expandable to 32Gb via microSD card
    •GPS with A-GPS support
    •FM radio with RDS

Full specification at gsmarena, essentially a low-mid range phone but the price is not bad considering.

    Other prices
    Amazon.de - c.€230 delivered
    Tesco mobile PAYG - €250
    Vodafone PAYG - €230
SimplyElectronics - €199 if you felt like chancing it
    Expansys - €280

What's the battery life like on these phones?

What's the battery life like on these phones?

I use it for browsing, Twitter, email and maybe an hour of calls each day. Tend to have the display brightness low enough.

Get 1.5 to 2 days from a full charge. Charge takes about 30 mins.

Playing GBA emulator drains battery in about 4 hours though.

Hope this helps, great phone for everyday use.

Battery life is key for me and I am thinking about purchasing the Motorola Razr i as an alternative, I'm not tech savy so il have to do a bit more research
