Do you have to enforce rules that you don't personally agree with?

If so, how do you reconcile that within yourself?

Why do Mods spend hours of their day moderating a website for free while someone else sits back and rakes in the cash?

Is this not the 21st century example of slavery in online form?

    Give reasons for your answer.

Isn't that kind of like asking why people volunteer for charities? This site is obviously something they care about and are happy to help with as much as they can. Then again I'm no Mod so one can feel free to correct me. I also remember hearing something about Hookers and Coke.. Maybe that's it.

    No question mark. Banned.
Does Dr.Bollocko live up to his name, if you know what I mean? ;)

No, he is not actually a doctor.
How many headlights are on yer scooter?

    I have no scooter.
Why do bad things happen to good people?

We have dispute resolution for that. ;)

Yes. I attempted to get the rule changed through discussion. Didn't work out, but I felt better about it having discussed it out.
    I accidentally my question.

    The whole of it.

You clearly only part of it.

    More later.....

And unlike charities, the owner of this site is raking in the cash ~ I don't think there's any charitable cause here.

I was just re-quoting you as you somehow felt the need to tell us in your earlier post you weren't a mod.

Why do Mods spend hours of their day moderating a website for free while someone else sits back and rakes in the cash?

It doesn't take hours. The main reason for doing it is I like the forums, the discussion and people being able to interact with eachother as human beings where you can express an opinion safe in the knowledge that only the opinion can be attacked and not you personally. Can you say you can do that in all other walks of life? It's not the business of Boards I care about. It's what the site allows you to do.
Is this not the 21st century example of slavery in online form?

No, people don't choose to be slaves.
    Give reasons for your answer.

    I just did.
