Aib Box Croke Park, and the GAA FanPic

Was having a look at the fanpic from the All-Ireland Football Final in Croke Park, but strangely the whole AIB corporate box section is blurred out for some reason ??

Most of the executive boxes are blocked as is the whole of the Ard Comhairle section where a lot of politicians sit. Seems to be standard practise, probably in agreement with the GAA, so if you've any questions better to contact them.

I was at the Dublin-Kerry semifinal and was waiting outside the Ard Comhairle entrance on the Hogan Stand for my Dad. It's surprising who actually gets tickets for those seats, the premium seats and the executive boxes. Literally a few dozen politicians, journalists, TV personalities and all sorts in there. Nice spot if you can get it.

I saw who was in the box.

It was Bertie Ahern, Fingers Fingelton, Seanie Fitz, Barry Egan, Gerald Kean, the fat lad from Boyzone, Jedward and other members of THE ELITE.

They sat in that box quaffing on champagne paid for by the plain people of Ireland, tipping their cigar ash over the side of the railings onto the heads of the downtrodden and oppressed ordinary decent Irishmen and Irishwomen. Laughing contemptuously at how good they had it.

Mostly the Financial Services sectors are blocked and a few others but not most of the boxes????




Yep, you can blur your own face out if you want, but the whole AIB section is blurred (along with the GAA ones beside it).

As far as I know AIB have given their box out to charity since there was a scandal over them still having one.

Alot of the corporate boxes seem to be blurred out.

A lot of the Financial Services boxes are blurred (Zurich, Liberty, Aviva etc.) as well as AIB.

Strangely though the AIB one is not blurred out for the pics from the semi-finals.

Standard ticket holders enter the grounds with the understanding that camera equipment would be in use (it might actually even say it on the ticket). Paying a premium probably gives corporate box holders more control over media output, which might be useful if they're entertaining guests, especially political ones, who don't want to be linked.
