Hey, just asking about this group.
Has anybody dealt with them before? Good/bad?

A family member is planning to get them to replace a diesel engine in a '01 3 series.
They say they will replace the engine for about two thousand.

I know it's not quite as simple as this, but if its a 316 or 318 you'd buy a whole replacement car for less than 2k.

All of our engines are fully serviced before leaving the workshop and most are guarunteed.
Stuff like this really bugs me on websites.

On topic, is 2k for a new engine really an option for an 01 3series? It's your money but...

I dont like IVI. Sure they will fit you an engine quickly but they are alittle rough around the edges in my experience.

    Thanks for the replies,
Only thing about the car is that the engine seized everything else is fine.
Its a 320D,and IVI say that the engine has 31K miles on it.
They also say that it will come with a guarantee.

From the replies I checked auto-trader and saw that the equivalent is about €2.5k but the mileage is all +100,000miles. So its pretty borderline at least I think so.
