Car polishing

Choosing a polish will depend on what machine you have purchased - what did you buy? Any link?
No point in spending money on a polish designed for a rotary polisher if you've only purchased a buffing machine.

I'd say it's an argos take-the-work-out-of-waxing machine rather than a D/A or rotary. If it was a D/A or rotary, he'd have bought the polishes from the same detailing site.

    That's what I figured....and why I asked :)

If that is the case, there is no real point in using it to apply the polish. Use a hand polish and buff it off using the machine. Also, this type of machine wont give correction, but it will only remove oxidation, improve gloss and shine and help fill the swirls; they will return after a few washes.

    Hi Guys
Sorry about the lack of info. The machine is a Tek Take 1600 watt rotary polisher with a selection of bufffing pads. I was looking at the Farecla compound soley because I saw some in my local bodyshop but when I was looking at micks garage onlne they didnt do this brand and their range of similar items seemed to be way cheaper than I can buy the Farecla for hence my question. Does the price reflect the quality or am I just paying for the name with Fareclea.
    Any opinions appreciated.
    Thanks

Einszett are the more premium product and yet despite been manufactured in Germany, are sold at budget prices. MG pile them high and sell them cheap, even cheaper than in Germany. The various professional polishes with the black bottles and labels were formulated for the OEM and bodyshop market (silicone-free). The polish with the green label is more for the consumer market (contains silicone), a medium cut polish to restore the average used car. Part correction, part filling. If you go to the 1Z-USA site you will get more information on what's what.
