Peugeot Partner oil leak

Bought a 2007 Peugeot Partner a few weeks ago. It had been going great before the oil change. Changed the oil in it last Thursday and it has been leaking since. The leak is not coming from the filter or sump area.
Will have to bring it back to the dealer at the weekend. Anyone know what the problem could be.

These engines usually take 5w 30 fully syn (low saps)
Have you any idea which side of the engine the oil is coming from..?

It is dripping slowly from the same place. It is coming from somewhere in the center of the engine. It is leaving a small puddle of oil. I thought it was leaking from the sump but it is not. Engine seems to be running a bit warm aswell.

You really need to clean it down to see where its coming from.
These engines do tend to weep alittle oil.
Maybe its leaking more than usual when hot the fact that its a lighter grade of oil.

Thanks for your help. It is covered under warranty for the next 3 months. Yeah it seems to be only leaking after I drive it to work and when I get home. There is a strong smell of oil after I have driven it.

There's your problem right there. Awful engine. Very delicate.

The main problem with them seems to be people not servicing them regularly enough. I tightened up one or two things this morning. Will have a look at lunchtime.
    Thanks

I have seen these engines with 150k mls on the clock and tbh the engines were pretty dry.

@kevohmsford....If its under warranty then the garage will have to sort this for you especially if the leak is dropping onto the ground.

The way I read it the oil leak only started after the OP changed the oil, so it may or may be the garage's problem.

I am going to bring it back to the garage at the weekend. It was leaking slightly before the oil change alright. I only have the van 18 days.
It is still leaking this evening anyway.
