siemens american style ff - freezer leaking water

6 year old american style fridge freezer, water is building up on the bottom and then it's leaking out the door. Only happens sometimes, like once a day, not a constant stream of water. I opened it and took the bottom shelf out and water seems to be pooling at the back then down onto the floor. Could I be filling it too…
