What do you think of in jokes, I think they are the mark of relationships in a way, my family have lots of them...odd mad saying that old neighbour's might have had, have turned in to in jokes that all the family get but no outsiders would understand, my daughter and I have started to call the nursing home where my mother is st clabberts , she started it but I got the joke immediately and now all the family say it! Its the same with my husband his references tend to be a bit obscure but I always get them. Maybe sense of humour is inherited or we are attracted to people with the same sense of humour as us.

I know in jokes then to annoy some people but I think they are a great bond with certain people.
