I can't seem to get any for under 600
You're choosing dublin >> JFK, right?

    EWR I'd imagine.

Newark's their primary hub on the east coast.

Counterintuitively the good prices are fri-mon if you select "my dates are flexible" in the advanced search you'll see the cheap prices. All the cheap prices I could find were via washington to jfk or laguardia.

Delta are €377 at the same time to JFK and have been for a while, so while the price above is equivalent, it's worth noting that it comes up often enough

Isn't this a normal price to NYC?

I'd have said its fairly normal for that time of year. In the summer, you would almost certainly be paying €600 to €800

Actually to come to think of it, I did a search on flights to the states for this time of year there last week. Found fares as low os €340 from Dublin to NY with KLM via Amsterdam. Obviously, the direct flight from Dublin makes a lot more sense for the sake of €30

I suspect that poster was referring to the weather that NY gets at that time of year, and the havoc that can be wreaked on flight schedules by said weather......

US Airways were offering €370 flights to NYC in June & July. Delta direct were €412 in July

I am trying to find dublin jfk direct from 2nd to 5th may,
delta has 375ea return last week but seems to be gone, anyone any idea if they have a sale coming up?

I send the wife over there every now and then.....I thought €378 was the lowest I had hear of in the last few years, all in.

aer lingus were charging 219 e/w in their 'sale'....

and although united get bashed all over the place, their entertainment centre with a choice of 100 movies on demand is quite awesome.

I got direct flights to JFK with Delta for this time last year for €330 return, although I think I was just lucky.

Couldnt find anything under €400 this year.

Must it be JFK? When you see a sub €400 fare you just really have to pull the trigger there and then. It's why credit cards were invented....

I flew to NY this time last year and it cost me €650 return.
I searched everywhere, skyscanner etc and that was the cheapest I could find!

Direct flights to Newyark in February for 8 days is 378 EUR return. Decent enough!

Perfect times too, arrive 11:50am in EWR and return to dublin at 7pm! So you don't loose days traveling.

my wife will be on that flight. blonde, fit, 5'11, tight pants...if you see her, tell her I said hi. ;)
