UPD - The score is used to rank applicants among school leavers as well as those presenting FETAC.
MAN - The score is used to rank FETAC applicants for consideration for entry to a FETAC quota course.

ONE - The best score in a single FETAC assessment session are used for ranking purposes.
MLT - The best score in any combination of FETAC assessment sessions are used for ranking purposes.

ART - The FETAC assessment will be combined with an assessment carried out by the HEI offering the course
(e.g. an art portfolio assessment or an audition).

The course i'm applying for next year has ''MAN/MLT/- ''
another one i'm interested in has ''MAN/ONE/- ''

Can anyone tell me what this means and who i'm competing with for a place and why there are two codes?

    Thanks

MAN means that the course in question has a quota of places set aside for FETAC applicants i.e. you would be competing against other FETAC applicants, separate to the Leaving Cert applicants. Keep in mind that the number of places reserved for FETAC applicants may be only a handful of the total available, meaning that this can be a very competitive admission route.

ONE means that all your FETAC modules that you count for points (normally eight modules) must be completed in a single sitting i.e. count your best eight results from one year.

MLT means that you can combine FETAC modules from more than one year i.e. count your best eight results over two or more years.
