Damp/wet

    I need some help/advice

I lifted some floor boards in an old bungalow and discovered some damp/water there. Its where an external and internal block wall meet. There are no rads or down pipes near the area. There is a dpc in the walls. The top of the dpc is wet but the wall above is dry. I put down a small piece of plastic where I discovered the problem and collected about a half cup of water over two /three days. The concrete patio area outside seems dry.
Any ideas on how I might find the source of this water or what trade/professional do I need to have it checked.
    Thanks.

Retain a good Arch Technician or building surveyor to check floor levels, external ground levels, falls, the integrity of dpc etc.
Is an external gully damaged near the exterior of this wet patch?

Any chance of you posting a photo?
    Good luck
