    I remember getting Aquafresh mouthwash with 100% extra, for half price in Dunnes Stores a few years ago.

    Yes and no. It would be the same price per unit or per gram but at the end of the day you are still paying out more money in one transaction for the 100% extra free offer. Which one is better value really depends on a lot of other factors.
