Little by way of quality racing today, but I guess all eyes will be on croke park where the pale take on the rest of the country. :)

Scanned the cards last night and the one that stuck out was osmosia in the lucky last at plumpton. Won this last year off 9lbs higher and just to be sure, the claimer (who ive never heard of) takes a further 10lbs off. Tissue 9/4 but there must be some confidence behind this mornings fav cappilini as osmosia is 9/2. Now, I've a large lump of beef to prepare for Sunday lunch so I better giddy up.

Actually had one bet today and in the same race. It's bad when a horse's hurdle rating is below his flat rating, Nebula Storm was smart on the flat for John Oxx but was sold out of the yard cheap, beaten at odds on first time out over hurdles. Travelled better last time out and his mark continues to slip, 16/1 worth a small each way but not one for maximum faith

A class 6 hurdle at plumpton, we're really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Where's Ste? It's on a day like this that he comes into his own.

Hamilton is a track that I find impossible to find winners at, always been a graveyard for me.

In the first at Gowran Abushamah 3/1.He was staying on over 7f last time out and trainer/jockey in top form.Red Dubawi did not good a yard in tacky ground yesterday but will win a big handicap according to trainer David Marnane.

Ha I know well. Pity there isn't a good Curragh card today. Doing a tiny each way on Beuno Cailin at 20s in the 3.25 Gowran. Has shown **** all but might improve for the step up to a mile first start in a handicap off a lowly 47

That maiden at Gowran will turn out to be top class.O Briens two looked really nice and will win very shortly.Have a look at O Briens 2nd string what a run John Constable very green but looks serious. In the last Wexford Opera looks exposed but this by far his best chance. If you back both Connor King/Colin Keane in ever race you would be making serious dosh IMO.

King has an interesting one in the 16:25 for sabrina harty.

Bravely faught - was rated 96 in 2010 (74 now)
Didn't run for about 2 years until a couple of recent runs, which will have shaken the rust off. King booked to ride now.

Will be first or last, but worth a chance IMO.

Also have to mention Brannigan's Law in the last race. :pac::D

Osmosia raced wide throughout but that didn't matter, not good enough and was stuffed

Mine traded 5/2 in running and not even placed
