Hi all, thinking of buying this Toshiba LED 40" (L1333) TV up north in argos as is good price (£299)...

However, i'm confused if its saorview ready or not....

On the Toshiba site it is "Built-in Freeview digital TV (Saorview – Eire)"

But on Saorview/Toshiba site its not, only the L1333b model.

So is it or isn't it?

Please throw in your 2pence if you think its good price?

Also, anyone know if the Argos 3 year breakdown cover is applicable to people buying from the south?

    Thanks all!

It would seem that all of the Toshiba L1 series are Saorview approved. On the Toshiba site, the part number for the 40L1333 is given as 40L1333B.

Picked up that same TV for €370 from PowerCity recently.

    It is Saorview.

    No issues so far.

Media player isn't the best but it plays media.

It's far from their top of the range type stuff but it can handle the PS3 quite well and my HDMI Media Player runs very well on it too.

You'll need to mess with the display settings a bit to get it right for you but once you do, it's a fine set !
